Interior Decorating Style Quiz

When you take the decorating quiz make sure you judge the rooms on the overall feel of the space. Ask yourself "do I want to live here, or just visit?". Imagine yourself in the room and be aware of how it makes you feel.

You should be able to say, oh yeah, I like this, not be on the fence about it.

Once you get the results you can start making your decorating plan. Hopefully you now have a direction to go in. Still confused? Here is what I recommend to my clients...

I have them pull out magazine pictures of rooms they like and go online and search for interior decor pictures they love. My favorite spot is Houzz.com. I recommend they save all the pics to a file that we'll later go through together.I usually discover that the pics they chose have one dominant design style.

I actually offer a design service called "copy cat" design. I will have my client choose a picture of a room they would LOVE to have and I replicate it for them as closely as I can on their decorating budget.
