Advice For My New Couch Purchase

I'm about to purchase a new couch and I'm looking for a fabric that won't stain easily. Is leather the best choice or are there other materials that are just as easy to care for?

Diva's Reply: Leather is a good choice but the micro fiber fabrics are terrific at hiding everything. I have an indoor outdoor fabric on my sofa that wears well. When I reupholstered my sofa my new rule was no eating or drinking on the sofa. We've stuck to it, so my sofa still looks new.
