For Local Shopping I Love Home Goods!I have one close by so I'm always dropping in to see what's new. Their lamps and rugs are the greatest! The prices are incredible! The down fall is they don't keep the same items in stock and they don't offer delivery. TJ Maxx has a nice little collection of furniture and lamps, too but the same as above... I find a lot of pieces at second hand stores. If you're in the New Haven CT area, Teen Challenge in Branford, and Sarah's Cupboard in Branford have a great selection of used furniture that just needs a little love. I found this great street in Soho in NYC! Green Street.I swear I was in decorator heaven! Beautiful furniture and accessory stores, one after the next.
